East Grain S.A. is expanding its service portfolio for farmers by acquiring a 51% majority stake in Drone Box SRL, the company operating the Riagro brand, which specializes in agricultural drone technologies. The founders of Drone Box SRL remain active partners with a 49% stake and will continue to lead the company's development.
Through this investment, East Grain adds a new component to its portfolio of farmer-dedicated services. Riagro specializes in the distribution of DJI Agras agricultural drones, as well as precision spraying services, operator training, and technical support. The partnership brings together East Grain’s resources and experience with the technical expertise and dynamism of the Riagro team, creating the foundation for accelerated growth in this segment and the expansion of precision agriculture solutions in Romania.
